Simon Coats BSc (Hons) MRICS

Director

A Chartered Building Surveyor with 20 years’ experience in the property sector and a Director of Pinders, Simon has extensive experience of representing Landlords and Tenants in the resolution of Dilapidations claims across most sectors, including public houses, commercial, office and retail premises.

Whether issuing or defending claims, Simon and Pinders provide clients with a comprehensive one stop solution to Dilapidations issues, from initial advice, preparation and serving of documents, through negotiation to the settlement of a claim.
Simon is also able to administer the Party Wall process, including advice, preparation and serving of Notices, agreeing Schedules of Condition, publishing Party Wall Awards, discharging Notices and looking after the interests of adjoining owners: guiding the process to a successful conclusion through open and transparent discussions between the parties.
