Simon Bird BSc MRICS MCIArb

Director

Simon is a Director and has the day-to-day responsibility for the Consultancy and Dispute Resolution/Expert Witness aspects of Pinders.  He retains an active involvement in a wide range of professional, valuation, appraisal and consultancy services undertaken by the multi-disciplinary team at Pinders.

Particular areas of expertise lie predominantly within the healthcare sector and include development appraisals, valuations, business appraisals, strategic advice, independent expert reports, demographic needs assessments, competitor analysis, planning consultancy and feasibility/viability studies.

Simon has specialised in the healthcare sector for the past 16 years, advising on residential care and nursing homes, hospitals, pharmacies, doctors’ surgeries, medical centres, dentists and children’s day nurseries, extra care/close care and care villages.

Simon is a regular contributor at conferences and seminars, as well as being a judge for the Healthcare Design Awards for the past seven years.
