Dilapidations

 

The issues surrounding dilapidations may be complex and emotive.  We can advise both Landlord and Tenant on all aspects relating to their Dilapidation responsibilities under the terms of a Lease, whether at the outset, transfer or termination of an agreement.

 

Our services include interpreting lease terms and advising on Dilapidations liability; preparing assessments of Dilapidations prior to end of lease; preparing and serving schedules of claim for Landlords or, conversely, advising Tenants and preparing their responses to such claims.

 
We undertake valuations to assess diminution of value, negotiate the consequent scope of work or financial settlement, and monitor the works required: thereby providing our clients with a complete package.
